Criteria Selection

  • Relevance to symposium.
  • Originality of ideas to stimulate thought and discussion.
  • Quality and rigor of the work produced.

Presentation Instructions

Paper Presentation

  • The time allotted for a paper presentation is 20 minutes:
    - 15 minutes for presentation;
    - 5 minutes for discussion, i.e. answering questions posed by the attendees.
    Please respect the 20-minute duration allotted to each paper.
  • Acceptable formats for presentations are MS PowerPoint 2003/2007.
  • For all presentations, a laptop computer (with MS Windows XP operating system (English version) and MS Office 2007 (English version)) and an LCD projector will be available in each symposium room.
  • A laser pointer will be prepared on the speaker desk.
  • Please bring your presentation on a memory stick/thumbdrive to upload on the laptop provided prior to your session.
  • In the file name, please include the presentation number and presenter's name.
  • Please visit the room at intermission and conduct PC operation in advance to ensure that your data work properly.
  • Please be seated at the "next speakers' seat" in the conference room at least 15 minutes before your presentation.
